Instruments
My interest in making instruments started in 2014, inspired by a video of the Children’s Orchestra of Paraguay. I received a 6-month Wingate fellowship at Indiana University of Pennsylvania which allowed me to research and learn to make traditional folk instruments. I have learned traditional technique for the purpose of creating sculptural, functioning instruments.
